TROT are an alternative rock band that take the usual band format trading lead vocals for complex arrangements, synthesizers, classical instruments and sampled sounds. Matt plays guitar, bass, synths and samples; often simultaneously, and has also contributed heavily to the The Rock of Travolta’s writing, recording and production. The Rock of Travolta have recorded 2 albums, 4 EPS, and a session for John Peel; featured on Channel 4, BBC and MTV; played 4 UK headline tours and supported band such as Radiohead, Trans Am, Do Make Say Think, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Sigur Ros, Oceansize, Foals, Kaiser Chiefs, Keane and Snow Patrol.
